Please read these terms carefully—booking this course implies that you agree to the terms and conditions below.

1. General Information

1.1 The Singing Club is a fixed-term course run by Lo Barnes (hereafter referred to as "we" or "us"). "You" refers to the participant.

2. Payment & Minimum Participation Requirement

2.1 Full payment is required before participating in The Singing Club.

2.2 This course requires a minimum number of participants. If this number is not met, we may need to cancel or reschedule. If you have already paid, you will be contacted and offered either a full refund or the option to transfer to new dates, if possible.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

3.1 Course fees are non-refundable. However, in exceptional circumstances, fees may be transferred to another course at our discretion, subject to availability.

3.2 If for any reason we need to cancel a session within the course, we will notify you as soon as possible to reschedule the session.

4. Attendance

4.1 Discounts will not be offered to participants who cannot attend all of the sessions included in the course.

4.2 We will endeavour to provide audio recordings of the sessions to absentees, where possible.

4.3 Recordings of the sessions are solely intended for participants of the course, and will only be available during the course itself.

5. Photography & Recording

5.1 Sessions may be recorded (audio only) when participants are unable to attend in person. Session recordings will only be shared with participants on the course.

5.2 We may occasionally wish to photograph and record video content of the sessions to use for promotional material for The Singing Club. If this happens, we will explicitly ask for consent from participants in advance.

6. Conduct & Respect

6.1 Participants are expected to cooperate with Lo as the course leader and with fellow participants, and uphold an inclusive and respectful learning environment.

6.2 Any form of negative behaviour—written or verbal—toward other participants, Lo, or any facilitators may result in immediate removal from the course. In this case, no refunds will be issued, and future participation in courses, workshops, or other offerings may be denied at our discretion.

7. Accessibility & Special Requirements

7.1 If you have any accessibility needs, medical conditions, or dietary requirements that require special arrangements, please email us at hello@lobarnes.com as soon as possible, and at least two weeks before the course begins.

8. Liability

8.1 Lo Barnes and The Singing Club are not responsible for any personal injury or damage to personal belongings before, during, or after course sessions.

8.2 Participants are responsible for their own property and personal safety while attending the course.

9. Venue Responsibility

9.1 Participants must not cause damage to any part of the venue, including walls, flooring, fixtures, fittings, or outdoor areas.

9.2 If you cause damage to the venue, you will be solely responsible for covering any repair costs or reimbursements to the venue owner.

10. Right to Refuse Participation

10.1 We reserve the right to decline or cancel a participant's place in the course at our discretion. This may include, but is not limited to, cases where a client is deemed unsuitable for coaching, has not adhered to previous agreements, or where scheduling conflicts arise. Any applicable refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

1.1 Private lessons are one-on-one vocal coaching sessions run by Lo Barnes, and last 1 hour. Lo Barnes is hereafter referred to as "we" or "us". "You" refers to the participant.

2. Payment

2.1 Full payment is required before attending a private lesson with Lo Barnes.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

3.1 Cancellations must be made via email to hello@lobarnes.com.

3.2 Refunds for cancellations will be issued as follows:

  • More than 48 hours' notice – full refund.

  • Less than 48 hours' notice – 50% refund.

  • Less than 24 hours' notice – no refund.

3.3 If we need to cancel a lesson for any reason, we will notify you as soon as possible. If rescheduling is possible, your payment will be carried over. If not, you will receive a full refund.

4. Discount for Regular Lessons

4.1 A discount is available for weekly + bi-weekly regular lessons. To receive the discount, the student must commit to at least four consecutive lessons. Please email hello@lobarnes.com for a discount code + to secure your recurring slot.

4.2 If your regular lessons pause or stop for any reason, we reserve the right to withdraw the discount for future bookings. This right will not be unreasonably enforced.

5. Conduct & Respect

5.1 Students are expected to cooperate with Lo as their vocal coach and uphold an inclusive and respectful learning environment.

5.2 Any form of negative behaviour—written or verbal—toward Lo or any facilitators may result in lesson cancellation and possible exclusion from future lessons, courses, or workshops. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.

6. Accessibility & Special Requirements

6.1 If you have any accessibility needs, medical conditions, or dietary requirements that require special arrangements, please email us at hello@lobarnes.com as soon as possible, and at least 48 hours before your lesson.
